REDUCE. RELOAD. REUSE.
Re-using batteries is one of the best ways to help protect our planet and reduce hazardous waste in landfills. Not only is it an eco-friendly choice, but it also helps save money in the long run. Let's do our part to help the environment and make sure our batteries don't end up in landfills!
Rove donates a portion of its proceeds to environmentally focused causes & charities.
Our Environmental Commitment
At Rove, we believe in creating products that work as hard for the planet as they do for you. That’s why we’ve made a firm commitment to eliminate disposables from our entire lineup. Every vaporizer we design is built for reuse—drastically cutting down on the millions of single-use batteries that end up in landfills each year.
The Hidden Cost of Disposable Batteries
Vape batteries contain chemicals and heavy metals that can leach into soil and groundwater when improperly disposed of. But the harm begins long before—mining the lithium, cobalt, and other metals used in these batteries often leads to deforestation, water pollution, and the destruction of fragile ecosystems. By choosing reloadable options, you’re reducing demand for destructive mining and actively preventing hazardous waste from contaminating our environment. Each time you reload instead of replace, you're keeping toxic materials out of our landfills, waterways, and wild spaces.
Our Partnership with Environmental Champions
We don't just talk about environmental responsibility—we act on it. Rove proudly donates a portion of its proceeds to organizations making a real difference for our planet:
- Good Shepherd - Supporting communities in need while promoting sustainable practices.
- One Tree Planted - Reforesting our world, one tree at a time.
- The Nature Conservancy - Protecting the lands and waters on which all life depends.
- Ocean Wise - Safeguarding our oceans for future generations.

good shephard international
Two thirds of the world’s cobalt, an essential raw material for lithium batteries, comes from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), much of it from artisanal and small scale mining. The living conditions of artisanal miners in the largest cobalt mining area in the country in the ex-Katanga are among the worst in the world. Women, girls and an estimated 40,000 children are forced to work in cobalt mines, in unsafe and unhealthy conditions, using rudimental tools and without any protective equipment. They work for less than a dollar a day, not enough to survive, while being denied their basic rights to protection, healthcare and education.

one tree planted
We want to make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Together we can restore forests, create habitat for biodiversity, and make a positive social impact around the world.
We plant one tree with every dollar donated.

The nature conservancy
The Nature Conservancy is tackling the dual threats of accelerated climate change and unprecedented biodiversity loss. Science determines where we focus and equity guides how we achieve lasting results. Grounded by decades of local on-the-ground experience, we maximize our ability to affect change by bringing together real-world solutions, policy expertise, sustainable financing and collaborative partnerships.
